Runners taking part in Reindeer Run 2022

On Sunday 18th December 2022, residents from Basingstoke and North Hampshire took part in our annual Reindeer Run!

For the second year running, more than 230 fun-runners donned their antlers and met at Festival Place for a family-friendly fun run, all to raise much-needed funds for us.

Santa counted down and started the run, which looped round Eastrop Park and ended back at Festival Place. Runners enjoyed festive face painting and were entertained by a brass band as they ran.

Lorraine Pink, Director of Income Generation said, ‘It was fantastic to be joined by so many people from our local community to raise much-needed funds for our patients. Due to the rise in the cost of living and energy prices, it’s now costing on average £1,500 more to run our services a day, so we’re incredibly thankful to everyone who took part, every donation will make a huge difference.’
