Play, Win, and Support us every week

Join the lottery that gives you a chance to win great cash prizes every week PLUS an easy, fun and affordable way to support St. Michael’s Hospice!

St. Michael’s Hospice is proud to be working with Local Hospice Lottery – a weekly, hospice owned lottery set up to provide financial support to adult and children’s hospices across Great Britain. ALL profits are donated to hospice care!

Playing the Local Hospice Lottery (just £6 per month, per game number) in support of St. Michael’s Hospice gives you a chance to win £2,000 every single week – along with over 300 other cash prizes. PLUS… there’s a rollover that can reach as high as £25,000! Players are also automatically entered into the four seasonal Super Draws which take place every March, June, September and December and have an additional GUARANTEED top prize of an incredible £10,000!

And as well as having a great chance to win, you will of course also be helping to make a real difference to local families relying on our essential services as the Lottery provides a regular stream of income we can rely on.

So, it really is win-win! To join the Local Hospice Lottery right now, simply click below, or call Freephone 0800 316 0645.

“
I couldn’t believe it when I got the call to say I’d won! It’s going to be such a wonderful surprise for the family. I’ve always supported St. Michael’s Hospice as they were there for some of my close friends. It’s such a wonderful place.

Weekly prizes

Prizes are issued automatically each week, so you don’t even need to worry about remembering to check your number(s) or claim any prizes. However, the weekly winning numbers are always available on the Local Hospice Lottery website, or via Facebook.

The more local people that play – the more we receive!

Local Hospice Lottery is a hospice owned collaboration. By sharing one prize fund and one set of administration costs, players can benefit from a larger prize fund (the largest of any hospice lottery) and more money can be raised for St. Michael’s Hospice than if we ran our own individual lottery.

Further details about prizes, odds of winning and how the Lottery works are available here.

Lottery FAQ's

St. Michael’s Hospice (North Hampshire) is a Registered Charity, No. 1002856. St. Michael’s Hospice is one of a number of hospices throughout Great Britain supported by Local Hospice Lottery. Local Hospice Lottery will give between 60% and 80% of profits from individuals playing in support of St. Michael’s Hospice to St. Michael’s Hospice. This is expected to be at least £800,000 over five years from October 2023.

A full list of all the hospices supported, along with Terms and Conditions, can be found on the Local Hospice Lottery website or provided upon request from ‘Freepost Local Hospice Lottery’.

To help to recruit new players, a team of paid fundraisers will be working in the local area, both door-to-door and at venues. Each member of the team will be wearing a uniform and will have a Local Hospice Lottery photo identity card with them. You can view members of the team on the Local Hospice Lottery website. All authorised fundraisers are paid by Local Hospice Lottery Ltd.

Promoter: Local Hospice Lottery Ltd is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission (http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk) under account number 4716, is registered in England and Wales (with Company No. 3226004) at Farleigh Hospice, North Court Road, Chelmsford CM1 7FH and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Farleigh Hospice (Registered Charity No. 284670). Local Hospice Lottery wants all people who play our lottery to do so safely.

Compliance footer

For existing players of the St. Michael’s Hospice Lottery Due to contractual agreements that are already in place with current suppliers, St. Michael’s Hospice cannot cease its own lottery and transfer existing players to the Local Hospice Lottery until the beginning of October 2024. However, new players will be able to sign up to play the Local Hospice Lottery in support of St. Michael’s Hospice from August 2023 onwards. Operating the two lotteries simultaneously in the short term is the most cost-effective way of supporting St. Michael’s Hospice. We will be writing to all of our existing players with further information on this change in August 2024. For each £1 that players currently subscribe to St. Michael’s Hospice Lottery draws, they will be allocated a new game number in the weekly Local Hospice Lottery draw. For example, if a player currently subscribes £2 to play in St. Michael’s Hospice Lottery weekly draw, they will be allocated two new game numbers to enter Local Hospice Lottery’s weekly draw.
