Our supporters work really hard to raise vital funds within our community by hosting creative events in aid of St. Michael’s Hospice. We are excited to share the upcoming supported events below – thank you and well done to everyone who raises vital funds for our patients!

Bluebell Open Gardens

10am – 12pm, Saturday 27 April – Steventon, Basingstoke

Each year the wonderful people of Steventon come together to organise a beautiful open garden and walk through the bluebell woods to raise money for St. Michael’s Hospice. Visitors are taken on a historic walking tour through the beautiful bluebells woods, before reaching the open garden where there are lots of lovely stalls, including teas & coffees, plants, raffles and of course cream teas!

Tickets are £5 per adult, children are free. Dogs are welcome as long as they’re on leads.

 

Academixs Concert at St Gabriel’s Church

7.30pm, Saturday 27 April – St Gabriel’s Church, Popley, RG24 9DU

The wonderful local signers, Academixs, are supporting us with their acapella concert at St Gabriel’s Church on Saturday 27 April. It’s set to be a great musical evening with pop, blues and smooth music. Refreshments are available on the night.

Tickets are £5 each and all proceeds will come to St. Michael’s Hospice.

 

Plant Sale in Kempshott

All year round –  Aster Road, Basingstoke

Our wonderful supporters and volunteers, Alfredo and Eileen, kindly grow a variety of different plants all year round to support the Hospice. There is always something new, from herb plants to garden border plants, hanging baskets and indoor plants, the plants are always thriving and looking for a new home. Run from their driveway, each plant is individually (and very reasonably!) priced, with all money coming to St. Michael’s Hospice.

 

A Night in Memory of Chris Price

Friday 10 May – The Woke Street Club, 2 Seal Road, Basingstoke, RG21 7NG

A Night In Memory of Chris Price is set to be a great evening of 60s and 70s live music performed by many local and talented DJ’s. They’ll be music from a range of different earas, including Ska, Jazz and R&B.

This is a free event to attend, with donations encouraged for St. Michael’s Hospice.

 

Family Fun Duck Race

Monday 27 May – Barton’s Mill, Barton’s Mill Lane, Old Basing, RG24 8AE

Basingstoke Loddon Rotary are supporting us this year with their Family Fun Duck Race! Join them on Monday 27 May from 12pm for an afternoon of family fun filled with great prizes! Prizes for the winning ducks includes four annual Merlin attractions passes, Beechdown Spa Day for two, Champagne Afternoon Tea for two at Oakley Hall Hotel and many more!

Tickets are £1 per duck and there’s no limit to how many ducks you can buy! Visit Basingstoke Loddon Rotary Club’s website here to buy your ducks, or buy you ducks on the day.

 

Wyeford Open Gardens

11am – 4pm (last entry is at 3pm), Saturday 1 June – Wyeford Farm, Tadley, RG26 5QL

Our wonderful supporters at Wyeford Farm are opening up their gardens again for the public to enjoy and to help raise funds for St. Michael’s Hospice.

Tickets are £5 per person, with all ticket sales coming to St. Michael’s Hospice.

 

Hartley Wintney Festival

12pm – 5pm, Saturday 8 June – Hartley Wintney Commons, Hook, RG27 8SB

We are back at Hartley Wintney Festival this summer and we’re the chosen charity of this years event! The theme is ‘Our Sporting Life’ and we’ll see children from Greenfields Primary school dressed up in their best sports wear for this years procession, as well as having live music throughout the day, a classic car show and lots of stalls with games, activities and goodies to buy.

The show is free to attend, come along and say hello to the team at the St. Michael’s Hospice stall!

The Mill House Duck Race

Monday 5 August – The Mill House, North Warnborough, Hook, RG29 1ET

The Mill House in North Warnborough are holding another duck race! Go in the pub before Monday 5 August to get your duck and decorate it however you like – last year we saw spotty ducks, peacock ducks and even some super ducks! On Monday 5 August join them at the pub from 4.30pm for an afternoon of fun activities and for a great duck race starting from the river in their pub garden.

Ducks are £5 each with all proceeds going to St. Michael’s Hospice!
