Support us in your area

The support of the local community is vital to St. Michael’s Hospice.  Without local support, we simply couldn’t provide the quality care and services that we do.

There are many different ways that you can help to support St. Michael’s: you can give your time through volunteering, you can donate or help to raise funds through organising your own activities, or you can take part in Hospice events and campaigns. Alternatively, you can donate or buy goods from any one of our Hospice shops.

Every single thing that people do to support St. Michael’s, whether big or small, makes a huge difference and it is only by working together that we can we help to improve the lives of local people with a life-limiting illness.

The Lottery costs £2 per entry per week and there are £1,250 worth of prizes won by 20 lucky winners each week! A massive £65,000 worth of prizes are won by over 1,000 lucky winners each and every year!
At St. Michael’s Hospice we believe that all the care we give should be free, so that those who need it the most are not stopped from receiving it. Your generosity today will provide the care and support needed by all our patients and their families.
The Fundraising department of St. Michael's Hospice is constantly amazed and inspired by the generosity of you, our supporters, and find it especially touching how time and again you are able to think of the Hospice with a donation.
Working or volunteering for St. Michael's Hospice can be an enriching and empowering experience. It can provide people with an opportunity to do something that benefits others, it also brings with it a sense of worth and personal fulfillment. Look at us when you are searching for your next job.
Our Stores
Our retail division operates a chain of ten traditional stores and a furniture store, each supported by a full-time manager and assistant manager as well as help from our volunteers. We also sell goods online through eBay.
St. Michael's Hospice engages Volunteers in a wide variety of roles, some of which are patient-focused while others are more behind the scenes, but certainly no less important.
Gift Aid
Gift Aid provides a great opportunity for you to increase the value of your donations to St. Michael's Hospice. If you are a UK tax payer, using Gift Aid means that we can reclaim the tax you have paid from HMRC, helping your donation go further. It doesn't cost you a thing - all you need to do is complete a Gift Aid declaration!
Giving in Memory
Giving in memory of friends and family is a wonderful tribute and ensures we can continue to make a difference to our patients and their families, now and in the future.
