Step right up for an unforgettable Moonlight Festival as we light up Basingstoke in memory, celebration, and community spirit. Think carnival lights, festival beats, and glowing smiles! Dress to dazzle in your brightest outfits, add a touch of glitter, and load up on glow-in-the-dark accessories for a truly magical night under the stars.

This year, we’re opening the festival gates wider than ever with two Moonlight Walk routes to choose from. Take on the 10k or 6k walk, making the event more accessible while raising vital funds and awareness for St. Michael’s Hospice. Both routes start and finish at Festival Place, Basingstoke.

The fun begins at 8pm on 26 September 2026 at the Main Stage in Festival Place! Soak up the carnival atmosphere with:

🎨 Face painting and sparkle stations
🥤 Refreshments and treats
💃 An energetic warm-up to get everyone moving
Then, at 9pm, we all set off together to light up the town in true festival style!

Your entry fee covers the cost of running the event, but all the money you raise in fundraising and sponsorship will support patients and families during the most difficult of times.
We’re asking you to aim to raise £75 in sponsorship to help us hit our target, making a huge difference to those in need.
