We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who fundraised, volunteered and donated to us during April. Every £1 makes a huge difference – we couldn’t provide our vital care without people like you. Some highlights from April include:

Trusts and Foundations

We ‘re grateful to all the charitable trusts and foundations that help us raise funds and undertake important initiatives. In April, their support has enabled us to raise £6,000 towards the cost of our essential care and services, including bereavement support. A huge thanks to the support of The Charlotte Bonham Carter Charitable Trust and The Manydown Charitable Trust for their generosity and kindness towards our hospice.

We’re so thankful to the Brewers Foundation, which has generously supported us with product donations to help us with a much-needed renovation of our furniture store.

Marathons

Lots of marathons have taken place recently and we’ve been so lucky to have supporters taking part! We’d like to thank:

  • Patrick ran the Vienna City Marathon and raised an incredible £6,072!
  • David ran the Manchester Marathon and fundraised a brilliant £1,250.00!
  • Lisa and Gavin both took part in the TCS London Marathon, Lisa raised an amazing £1,787 and Gavin raised an incredible £1,595!

Thank you to Patrick, Lisa, Gavin and David – marathons are huge challenges and we couldn’t be more thankful for their commitment and support.
