The latest on our events

Sunflower Celebration

Sadly, we were unable to hold our Sunflower Celebration this year. However, we still wanted to provide our brilliant supporters with the opportunity to dedicate a sunflower to those they have lost, to those they love and appreciate, and to those families and friends that they miss and can't be with right now. As we know this is important and as a result, our Sunflower Appeal has raised an amazing £18,700. Our hospice Chaplain, Dominic Thornton, marked the day with a lovely video, which you can view here.

Let’s Get Virtual

Over the last few months we have seen over 150 of our supporters walking, running or cycling to support St. Michael’s Hospice in our first ever Let’s Get Virtual challenge, as a result of our much-loved events being unable to take place this year. The event saw our participants taking on challenges ranging from 1K to 200K over a 1-month period, which to date has raised a fantastic £14,500. Well done to everyone who took part!

Hospice Heroes Walk

We also hope to see many of you registering for our brand-new Hospice Heroes Walk over the next few months to celebrate the amazing work that our heroes do both here at St. Michael’s Hospice, as well as your personal heroes who are special to you. Walk in your hero’s footsteps and choose to take part in either our 5 or 25-mile challenge. For more information, please click here.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, sponsored, and taken part in one of our appeals or virtual events so far this year. Your support, kindness, and generosity during these difficult times has been truly humbling.
