Your life is a story, the ending matters.

Help provide comfort, dignity, and compassion to families in your community when they need it most.

At St. Michael’s Hospice, our doctors and nurses provide specialist care for people whose symptoms can no longer be managed at home without additional support. We work day and night to control pain and distress so patients can feel safe and comfortable.

Your support also helps our Hospice at Home team travel across North Hampshire, bringing expert care directly into people’s homes. This allows many patients to spend their final days where they feel most at peace — surrounded by family, familiar things and the people they love.

Our Living Well services help patients make the most of the time they have, offering therapies, counselling and rehabilitation that brings comfort, connection and even moments of joy.

And when someone dies, our care continues. Families, including children, receive bereavement support, so they do not have to face grief alone.

But services like these only exist because of the generosity of people like you.

The Funding Challenge:

  • We must raise £15,000 every single day to continue providing our vital services.

  • External economic factors beyond our control mean we expect our costs this year to significantly exceed our income.

  • We rely on the generosity of supporters like you to ensure our doors stay open for those facing their hardest days.

Your kindness will help ensure that no one in our community has to face the end of life alone, in pain, or without the compassion they deserve.

  • A gift of £25 could help fund a pain-relieving massage – providing a vital moment of relief
  • A gift of £37 could help fund a bereavement counselling session – a lifeline for someone learning to live in a world that suddenly feels unrecognisable
  • A gift of £100 could help fund 5 hours of Hospice Nursing care – ensuring a patient is safe, comfortable, and surrounded by expert support
  • A gift of £170 could help fund an hour visit from one of our Hospice at Home team – providing care when it’s needed most at the end of life

Any support you can offer is greatly appreciated. Your generosity will ensure that individuals and their families going through the most challenging times can continue receiving the care they deserve. Together, we can ensure that St. Michael’s Hospice continues to provide specialised care well into the future.
