Summer Memories

We’re excited to announce that this year’s Summer Memories event, previously known as the Sunflower Celebration, will take place on Sunday 14 July 2024, from 3pm to 5.30pm at Worting House, showcasing a brand-new location and flower installation of metal forget-me-nots.

As always, the event aims to bring our community together to celebrate the memories of our loved ones. It will include a special remembrance service with readings, songs, and moments of reflection. In addition, several local stalls, refreshments, and entertainment will showcase the talents of our community to help raise funds for the Hospice.

The flower installation will feature hundreds of metal forget-me-not flowers, each one labelled and dedicated to someone special. Any flowers not collected on the day of the event will be planted in the Hospice gardens for the rest of July, allowing those who would like to visit the Hospice to do so.

This event is open to all who wish to remember a loved one, regardless of whether they received care from our Hospice teams.
