Farleigh Wallop Woodland Walk

Updated: 30/07/20

Dear Walker,

Since the Covid-19 crisis began, we have been monitoring all the advice and following the guidelines to keep our community safe. We knew quite early on that we would need to cancel our Basingstoke Run and Big Wheel events but we very much hoped we would be able to reschedule our popular Farleigh Wallop Woodland Walk for the autumn. However, due to matters out of our control, and our paramount concern for the safety of our walkers, volunteers and staff, we have now had to take the decision to cancel the event.

We are sure you will know that this has been a very difficult decision for us and we want to thank you for signing up for this event to support us. We understand completely if you would like to be refunded your entry fee. To do so, please contact events@stmichaelshospice.org.uk by Friday 28th August and we’ll be happy to take care of this for you.

We have the most incredible community of supporters who join our events to enable us to continue our services. We know you will be disappointed with this news but we are sure you will support our decision in the circumstances. Our website has details of other events we have put on in place of those we have cancelled, which may appeal to you, including our Hospice Heroes Walk coming very soon.

We would like to thank you for continuing to support the Hospice. Please be assured that at this challenging time we are doing everything we can to ensure our patients and their families continue to receive the specialist care that you, our community, so generously provide every year.

Please take care of yourselves and your family. We are keeping everything crossed in the hope that we will be able to welcome you Farleigh Wallop next spring.

Warm regards,

Chris Griffiths
Commercial Director
