  • Salary: £24,906 - £27,170 per annum, dependant on experience
  • Hours: Full time (37.5 hours)
  • Extras: £1,000 joining bonus

About the role

If so, we have opportunities to work within our 10-bedded In Patient Unit, we welcome applications from enthusiastic and passionate NMC Registered Nurses.

We are recruiting for three full-time motivated team players with experience of caring for end of life patients, either in a generalist or acute environment is essential for this role. A specialist palliative care course is desirable though it is not essential as full training, support and development will be provided to the right candidates.

We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced registered nurses with a keen interest in palliative/end of life care with a wish to develop skills in this specialty.  You will work within a multidisciplinary team providing complex symptom control and end of life care to patients with a range of life-limiting illnesses.  Providing care over the entire 24-hour period via internal shift rotation, including days, night, weekends and bank holidays, long days and short shifts are supported.

You must be a 1st level experienced registered nurse with current registration.  You will need to have a range of clinical skills to meet the growing complexity and acuity of patients requiring palliative care.

Practice development and support is available as are competencies and on the job training, with access to courses for further development.  As well as having access to a range of training and development opportunities, you will be warmly welcomed as a valued member of an experienced and supportive team, who you will get to know quickly from our robust induction program.
