Our Supporter Promise
The care of 8 out of every 10 patients is funded thanks to you, our supporters. Without your support St Michel’s Hospice would not exist. When you make a donation, we promise to spend your money effectively and efficiently to provide outstanding care to as many people as possible.
St. Michael’s Hospice (North Hampshire) is registered with the Fundraising Regulator, the independent regulator of charitable fundraising. We commit to fundraising in accordance with the Fundraising Promise and the Fundraising Code of Practice.
You play a vital part helping us achieving our purpose to provide high quality specialist palliative and end-of-life care in our community. That’s why we set out our commitments to you in our Supporter Promise.
- We are members of the Fundraising Regulator.
This means we follow the Fundraising Code of Practice and maintain high standards of fundraising at all times.
- We will always be clear, open and honest with you.
This means we will tell you how we spend our money and make sure the money is spent in the best interests of the hospice.
- We will take good care of your personal details.
This means we comply with all laws surrounding data protection and that we will not sell or share personal details to third parties for the purposes of marketing.
- We will respect your wishes.
This means we will make it easy for you to tell us how you want us to communicate, in a way that suits you and not pressure you to make a gift or if you choose to cease giving.
- We will be accountable for our actions.
This means that if you are unhappy with anything we’ve done whilst fundraising, you can make a complaint, and we will listen to your feedback.
Our privacy notices can be found here.
We display the Fundraising Regulator badge on our website and all our fundraising materials to show we are committed to good practice.
