Community Trees
We’re here for you, wherever you live in North Hampshire.
Everyone should have the chance to remember someone special – no matter where you are or what your connection to us may be. That’s why we’ve introduced our Community Trees.
Our Community Trees offer a meaningful way to shine a light for someone you love, in a place that feels right for you.* Whether you’ve visited the Hospice before, been supported at home by our Hospice at Home team or have never needed our care but would still like to remember someone close, our trees provide a space to reflect and remember.
With a Community Tree, you can make a dedication to your loved one without feeling any pressure to attend the Hospice or the Light Up a Life service. Instead, you can visit the tree you’ve chosen whenever you wish, in your own time, and in your own way.
Our community trees will be based in:
- Basingstoke Top of Town
- Hook
- Alton
- Overton
- Whitchurch
- Alresford
- Four Marks

Each dedication on our community trees is not only a beautiful way of remembering your loved ones, but it also acts as crucial donation to our Hospice; ensuring we can continue to provide the care and support those in our community need at their most vulnerable.
*Please note, that while a specific light will not be allocated to each dedication you make, one of the lights on your chosen tree will be a tribute to your loved one, and which light it is can be completely decided by yourself.
