Motor Neurone Disease Clinics

Our service provides holistic, patient-centred care delivered by a specialist team including a palliative care consultant, specialist occupational therapist, specialist physiotherapist, and palliative care nurse. We run a monthly MND clinic where patients are reviewed by a wider multidisciplinary team, including a neurologist, speech and language therapist, dietician, enteral nutrition nurse specialist, and an MNDA volunteer.

“
I think a lot of people have the feeling that a hospice is the end – but it’s the opposite.
It supports the patients and their carers. Jan has people at St. Michael’s Hospice to help her and it’s important for me to have that peace of mind.
