Financial support drop-in clinic

Living with a life-limiting illness (such as cancer or heart disease) is always challenging both for the individuals concerned and those that support them.

Life-limiting illnesses can leave people facing uncertainty and challenges they never planed for. St Bernard Support is a financial support drop-in clinic dedicated to illnesses. They make no profit regarding the services they offer.

A representative from St Bernard Support will be available every second Tuesday of the month, at The Turner Centre, St. Michael’s Hospice from 2pm to 5pm.

If you’d like to book an appointment, please telephone 01256 848863, and ask to speak to a member of the Living Well Service.

What do St Bernard Support offer?

St Bernard Support offer confidential support either by phone or in person, providing guidance on services that could benefit you and your family. Their representative can help with financial counselling to ensure you’re accessing any money and benefits available to you, including access to tax-free pension funds where applicable for those with life-limiting illnesses. They also provide expert support in releasing funds from life insurance and critical illness plans, as well as practical assistance with lasting powers of attorney, will writing, estate planning and minimising long-term care costs.
