This summer, we invite you to honour that love by making a dedication in memory of someone special, while helping St. Michael’s Hospice continue to provide care to those who need it most. Summer Memories is a special event where you can remember someone who has died, and celebrate their life. Through shared laughter, quiet reflection, and personal moments, you can pause, reflect, and feel close to the person you miss, while also being surrounded by others who understand.

A feather for remembrance

This year, our symbol is a Feather. A quiet sign of connection, a reminder of those we carry with us, and the bonds that remain.

With a donation of £30 or more, you can receive a limited-edition, metal keepsake. Each Feather will be displayed in the Summer Memories Meadow during the event, and will be available for collection afterwards.

You can also add a bespoke engraved name tag for £5.

If you’re unable to attend on the day, your Feather can be collected from the Hospice afterwards, or posted to you after the event for an additional £5.

This year, we’ve chosen a Feather as the symbol for Summer Memories. For the first time, you can also personalise your Feather with an engraved name tag. Something you can keep, display, and return to whenever you need to feel close to them.

Demand for our care is growing, and so is the need for support from our community. All our services are provided free of charge, but we simply couldn’t do this without you.

We rely on the generosity of our community to raise £15,000 every single day to continue our care and we cannot do this without your support. By making your dedication today, you are helping ensure we can continue to be there for local families when they need us most.
