"I had the best time running for St Michael's Hospice (even if my legs didn't agree by mile 11!) They do the most incredible work for our community, and after the kindness and dignity they showed my mum, being able to raise money for them felt like such a privilege. I couldn't be prouder to support such an amazing team."

On May 22 and 23, our volunteers were out collecting at Morrisons raising £1,142.51!
"When I’m volunteering at supermarket collections, seeing the generosity of people always reminds me of the kindness in our community. It’s also lovely talking to people who have experienced the love, support and care provided by St Michael’s Hospice.
I find it rewarding to give a little of my time fundraising for our wonderful hospice, which was were there for my mum and our family when we needed it most. Volunteering is a small way of saying thank you for everything they did for us."

On May 12, Nomios volunteered in the hospice gardens, sanding benches and treating them. They worked so hard and even bought us 2 new electric sanders! We are incredibly thankful for the time and effort our supporters give.
"At Nomios, every employee is given a day each year to volunteer for a cause that matters — and St Michael's Hospice is one of our chosen projects this year. Four of our team spent the day sanding and treating the outdoor benches, and it was a really rewarding experience. Seeing the before and after, and knowing the benches will be enjoyed by residents, made it a day well spent. We're proud to support such a special place."

On May 19, Hall & Woodhouse Pubs organised a 12 mile walk along the Jurassic Coast. Zoe Elliott, Manager at the Portsmouth Arms, did the walk in aid of us even with a sore back. As she avoided the slope down to Durdle Door because of her back, she and another colleague took another route and ended up walking 15 miles! Every step from our supporters matter, and we cannot applaud Zoe enough for pushing through! A massive well-done!
