Deputy Ward Manager (St. Michael’s Hospice In-Patient Unit)
- Salary: £31,365 to £38,000 per annum, dependant on experience
- Hours: Full Time
- Extras: £1,000 joining bonus
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Ward Manager to join our Inpatient Unit. To apply, you must be dynamic and enthusiastic and be able to motivate and inspire high standards, patient safety, and the highest possible quality of life for the patients under our care. You will work alongside the Ward Manager to provide clinical, professional, managerial and leadership for a multi-disciplinary team based on the unit.
Applicants should have experience of an inpatient environment and/or have experience as a Deputy Manager and be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of palliative and end of life care. The successful applicant must be able to evidence examples of their clinical leadership and managerial skills. As the Inpatient Deputy Ward Manager, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing expert and highly specialised palliative and end of life care to patients and families accessing our Inpatient Unit.
St. Michael’s Hospice located in Basingstoke is a registered charity which has been providing palliative care services to the local community across North Hampshire since 1992. As the Inpatient Deputy Ward Manager, you will also be part of the wider St. Michael’s Hospice organization, serving and representing the charity and supporting the local community across North Hampshire.
