Fundraising information

Please click below to download a copy of your Fundraising Pack which includes a copy of your sponsorship form and an ‘I’m taking part for…’ sign to print and wear during your challenge.

This year it will cost over £5.8 million to operate the Hospice and provide our services to our local community, with less than 16% funding from the NHS.  The remaining funds comes from the kind donations made by people like you. Therefore, we kindly ask all participants to try and collect a small amount of sponsorship to help us continue to provide our care for patients facing life limiting illness in the community. Here are how your contributions will help:

  • £35 enables a patient/family member to access 1 hour of specialist support from our Hospice at Home team.
  • £50 funds 5 child bereavement activity books to help a child struggling with the loss of their relative.
  • £110 would provide pain relieving medication to a patient for 8 days, enhancing their wellbeing and keeping them comfortable.
  • £240 funds a day of expert nursing care to support our patients with their physical and emotional needs.
