30th Anniversary

It’s our 30th Anniversary year and we are going to spend it celebrating the incredible achievements made possible by the wonderful community we are a part of and looking forward to what the future brings.

We have lots of activities planned for the year from events at Festival Place to our 30 For 30 Virtual event and we want to kick off by asking you for your stories and memories of St. Michael’s.

Since its inception, the Hospice has been funded by the local community and we think the community should be proud and be celebrating the role is has played in maintaining this vital health care service. We want to remember the extraordinary ways in which the community has kept the hospice going, do you have a story to share about care you or a loved one received? Do you have a picture to share?

I used to visit often; I was very close to my dad. My children, Marc, Hayley and Chloe, were all young and all enjoyed visiting the Hospice too. They were made so welcome and enjoyed doing little jobs at the Hospice. Everyone stopped to chat to them.
