Community Fundraising
In 1992, St. Michael’s Hospice was set up by the Community of North Hampshire, for the Community of North Hampshire. The Hospice, now more than ever relies on the generosity and expertise of the community of North Hampshire to help raise the money to cover Hospice running costs and to help continue to expand its services.
There are lots of ways that you can help St. Michael’s Hospice raise the £2.3 million needed to cover running costs this financial year. Fundraising is a fun way to use your skills, talents and expertise, or to just challenge your comfort boundaries and do something that you would never normally do, but raise money whilst doing it.
Some of the ways that you can help St. Michael’s Hospice are:
- Set up your own event
- Get Sponsored
- Set up a Community Fundraising Support Group
- Take part in a Fundraising Campaign
- Arrange a Community Talk
- Fundraising in Schools and Colleges
Many people already support St. Michael’s Hospice through lots of imaginative and creative fundraising ideas. For more information on events that are going on in the Community over the next couple of months, and also St. Michael’s Hospice organised events visit our Calendar of Events.
