Other Fundraising Ideas

Some other ideas to get staff and colleagues involved in fundraising for St. Michael's Hospice include:

Staff Fundraising events and activities - Why not encourage staff to undertake some fundraising events e.g. Christmas party, raffles, coffee mornings, cake sales, wardrobe amnesty,recycling week. It is a good idea to plan ahead and look at activities/events which will be of interest to all of your employees.

Volunteering - Could a team from your company help out at the Hospice e.g. tidying up the grounds, or helping at an event or holding a collection at a local store?

Matched Fundraising - Could you match the funds raised by your staff and double the donation to the Hospice?

Collecting Units - Why not show your customers that you are supporting St. Michael's Hospice and site one of our collecting boxes in a prominent place such as your reception? Units can be delivered and collected from you, when full, by our team of volunteers.

Sales of Redundant Stock or Assets - Why not convert your unwanted items (IT equipment, furniture, books etc.) into cash and pass the proceeds on to St. Michael's Hospice?
