10km Sponsored Run

Join St. Michael’s Hospice this 3rd October!
***New Event for St. Michael’s Hospice***
St. Michael’s Hospice would like to ask supporters to take part in a new challenge taking place on Sunday 3rd October. This is the first 10km Sponsored Run that St. Michael’s Hospice has organised and it is hoped that it will be a huge success and raise over £10,000, this is the equivalent of running the Hospice at Home Service for two weeks. St. Michael’s Hospice are looking for 500 runners from across North Hampshire to take part, so why not get involved!
The 10km Run takes place in the Wellington Country Park and starts in the Waterloo Meadow at 9.30am. This timed event is open to both men and women, amateur and professional runner. Running 10km is a really great challenge and the Hospice is urging as many people as possible to sign up. Entrance is £15.00 per person which covers the cost of St. Michael’s Hospice hosting this event; therefore participants are asked to raise as much sponsorship as possible to help ensure that St. Michael’s Hospice can keep providing its vital services in North Hampshire. The entrance fee will include a lovely shiny medal and all entrants are asked to run the event, therefore some training may be in order but there is plenty of time to prepare and a massive sense of achievement will be guaranteed when runners cross the finish line. Spaces are limited so do not delay in signing up for this new event.
