Our Hospice Shops
"To Provide Substantial Funding to St. Michael's Hospice"
That's the simple mission of our retail company, which operates a chain of seven shops, each run by a full-time manager and assistant manager with the help of the volunteers.
The shops are happy to receive donations of clean and serviceable goods and also old and unusable shoes and textiles which we can recycle. Ever increasing waste disposal costs, however, means that we cannot accept car boot, rummage or jumble sale leftovers or house
clearances without the prior agreement of the shop manager. Health and Safety regulations also mean that sometimes we may have to refuse goods in order to protect the staff and volunteers.
If you have any doubt at all about the acceptability of goods that you would like to donate, it is always very helpful if you speak to the shop manager first.
Latest Retail Campaign!
Donate your Foreign Currency!

Back from holiday? If you have any foreign currency leftover from your holiday we would be pleased to accept it as a donation in store. All you need to do is drop it off next time you are shopping and this will provide vital income to the Hospice.
Where To Leave Your Donated Items
Please bring you goods to your local Hospice Shop during opening hours.
Please don't leave goods at the Hospice, because we just don't have the facilities to deal with them there. We have to ask, too, that you don't leave anything outside the shops after closing time. Unfortunately, they are likely to be stolen, or vandals and animals will scatter them around the local area, leaving us with no option but to dispose of them without sorting them.
